Seiko's Hybrid Clocks Harness the Sun's Power to Keep You Punctual

Show the world just how eco-friendly you are by switching your Earth-killing alarm clock for one of Seiko’s new Hybrid Clocks. These clocks run on either solar or battery power and can tell the time and the weather.

The Hybrid Clock's battery runs on solar power during the day and battery power at night. Seiko Hybrid Clocks have a battery life of about four years and never need to be recharged. These clocks are initially only going to be sold in Tokyo. Hopefully they take off there and come stateside soon.
