These Pots’ Accessories Encourage Human-Plant Interaction

Italian design studio Dossofiorito has conceived an elaborate contraption that is designed to increase the quality of human-plant interaction. Scientific studies have shown that having plants around and interacting with them is good for overall health and well-being. With this in mind, Dossofiorito invented the ‘phytophiler,' a pot with additional attachments and features that allow people to observe and interact with plants in stimulating ways.

The contraption includes a series of holes around the circumference of the planter section. These holes allow for various accessories to be attached. These attachments include a magnifying glass that allows you to accurately observe leaves, mirrors to offer complete views of the plants and multiply their beauty and an add-on garden which extends shrubs outwards to make them look like trees overlooking a a field. All of these attachments are included to help plant-lovers experience a heightened level of human-plant interaction.
