Remember Jessica Rabbit? She is the sultry human cartoon wife of Roger Rabbit in the 1988 Academy-Award winning film Who Framed Roger Rabbit. The movie mixed action with animation to create a marvelous "toon" universe.
Jessica Rabbit was "untooned" and made to look lifelike and the result is pretty impressive.
"I was able to complete the face relatively quickly but the real challenge was everything from her neck down," the designer says of the untooning process. "Trying to piece together parts of a body from multiple photos on top of a highly disproportionate body was pretty difficult. I considered only doing the face but I predicted pitchforks and torches if I chose that route."
