Roomservice Magazine Features Real Life Transactions

Roomservice, an independent magazine from The Netherlands explores real life transactions and featured human billboards in its first issue.

Graphic designer Jacco Kranenburg purchased human billboards on eBay to advertise his design studio, Roomservice. While it wasn't a directly effective advertising strategy, the stories and exchanges related to the purchases became inspiration and fodder for the first issue of Roomservice magazine.

Implications - Some of the Roomservice images are very racy and feature women in the nude with writing on their bodies.
Kranenburg says that he started to bid on the human billboards "out of sheer curiosity." He claims that he was "struck" by the confidence that the different providers had as they presented themselves to the public.
