NYC-Celebrating Spring Apparel

The HUF Spring 2019 Collection Highlights Skateboarding Culture

The HUF Spring 2019 collection was recently unveiled and it draws inspiration from its own founder and his heritage. Keith Hufnagel grew up in New York City and a large part of his upbringing involved being involved in the strong skateboarding culture during the 90s. The latest seasonal capsule celebrates the era and the skate culture of the urban city -- the pieces aim to capture the diverse culture and eclectic energy that it boasted.

Some of the designs that translate this theme include the 'Highline' floral print as a nod to the parks, 'Fake News' and 'Blacked Out' graphic prints reference the history of the location. The range features fashion and accessories and to honor the drop, Eric Haze, a friend and graffiti artist created a mural at a nearby skate spot.
