The HUDWAY App Makes Driving in Bad Weather Safer

The HUDWAY app is a new navigational app designed to make driving in poor weather conditions safer. The app lets you build a map and then provides you with a heads-up display (HUD). The HUD tells you the shape of the road along with how far away an upcoming turn is. The idea is that the HUDWAY app will keep a driver's eyes on the road where they belong and away from their phone screen.

The HUDWAY app makes driving on unfamiliar roads safer by giving you advance notice of a road's shape and when turns and bends are approaching. The augmented reality function is awesome to see, and the fact that the app is available for free (an Android version is due out early 2014) makes it all the more sweet.
