4 Year Pangaea Expedition

Pangaea is the Greek term for the last super-continent that existed 250 million years ago. Directly translated, Pangaea means the whole earth. The reasoning behind Mike Horn's four year expedition of this same name is to show that we have just one earth and that this precious earth is truly beautiful.

For four years he will travel with an eco-friendly crew on an around-the-world sailing expedition, picking up 144 young people between 13-20 along the way. The project include sthe "Young Explorer Program" which involves 12 young people being on board at one time, collaborating on human and environmental projects.

Mike Horn hopes to choose young people who have high pontential to develop into opinion leaders. The Pangaea tour is sponsored by Mercedes-Benz and the Italian watch company Officine Panerai.
