One of the rarest cars in the world has been sold for $1 million. The 1936 Lincoln Aero-Mobile was originally a limo that was modified by aviation legend (among many other things) Howard Hughes.
The Aero-Mobile was a dream of what Hughes thought a Boat Tail Speedster should really look like (he didn’t disappoint). The car could move an unprecedented 100mph (for that time period and a passenger car…WOW).
It is a fine testament of true auto-art and it went for a worthy $1 million at the Leake Collector Car
Auction in Tulsa, Oklahoma on June 13.
