Airport Karaoke

Sing Away Your Travel Stress

A supervisor of passport control at one of Houston's airports, Bush International, has decided that just what travelers need during the hustle and bustle of traveling is, wait for it... Karaoke! Airports often invite professional musicians to play or sing to travelers, so karaoke is a logical next step.

Of course, an airport is exactly the place where most people take the time to stop and smell the roses and remember the reason for the season. Not.

Implications - The karaoke donor is a man named Rob Mason, a longtime supervisor in the passport control area of the airport. He spends much of his time manning the mic and holding down the fort.

I'm not a big traveller, but if I were and I went to a terminal where someone was belting out one of my favorite songs (...or any song, for that matter), I think I'd be more inclined to enjoy my time in the airport.

Well done, Rob Mason. Well done.
