Intricate Polygon Abodes

House Setagaya is a Minimal Industrial Styled Residence in Japan

Minimalism meets geometric intensity in the House Setagaya design by Atelier Azusa Ishii and Yasuhiro Yamashita. This Tokyo, Japan home is a two-storey structure that is built in the shape of a polyhedron. The roof is expertly sculpted and windows litter the building in a very avant-garde way.

The very bottom of building displays a square garage big enough to house a car. A curvy white spiral staircase leads towards the open concept living space and bathroom area. The bathroom is completely exposed, with one partition blocking out the view from the side closest to the wall and crisp hardwood flooring leading to the facilities. Industrial concrete lines the interior of the House Setagaya making it a truly modern abode.
