Having a unique angle to wedding celebrations can be tricky, which is why declaring your nuptials with a hot air balloon wedding can be just the hook to turn a normal wedding into something memorable.
That doesn’t mean that a hot air balloon wedding is berefit of risk, as this wedding party in California found out the hard way in this video. The entire wedding party was in the basket, enjoying the beautiful California sunset when they decided to come back to earth. Unfortunately, they descended a little too quickly and ended up crashing the balloon into the earth. No one was injured, turning a potential tragedy into a chuckle-worthy cautionary tale instead. Even the wedding party has a good laugh after being reunited with Mother Earth.
There are tons of hot air balloon wedding stories out there that don’t end with balloon to earth collisions, so if you’re considering hovering over the Earth for your wedding, just make sure you have a good pilot and good weather conditions.
