Cassandra Fountaine's Hoodoo Series Art Looks Incredibly Authentic

Illustrator Cassandra Fountaine has created a series of Hoodoo drawings inspired by the religion.

Not to be confused with the practice of Voodoo, Hoodoo is it's own separate entity with a greater focus on conjuring and spells. Cassandra did her Hoodoo series for a school methods and media assignment and is in fact quite off the beaten path of the work she normally does. A look at her portfolio will show you that her work generally consists of bright colors and child-friendly character designs unlike her Hoodoo series which is very dark and adult; this is definitely not the bright colorful magic you'll see in a Harry Potter movie.

Cassandra's Hoodo series looks incredibly authentic, it's so worn out and dark that it looks like it's been touched by dark magic.
