Cars That Reconstruct Roads

Honda's Clever Civic, Accord and Jazz Print Ads

New Honda print ads by London-based advertising agency Wieden and Kennedy seek to champion not only Honda vehicles but also the roads on which they are driven. The ads showcase a range of Honda cars, including the Jazz 1.4 EX, the Civic Type R and the Accord EX GT, and exact reproductions of streets in the UK.

The cross-section of road on which the cars appear were modeled after real streets. The road on which the Civic appears was chosen using a nomination process in which UK Civic drivers were asked to nominate their favorite driving roads. The winner, the A82, was then precisely rebuilt in studio and then immortalized in the Honda print ads.
