Two-Faced Concept Computers

The Homebook Laptop Incorporates a Pivoting Screen

Notebook computers typically take a standard shape that doesn't necessarily afford the ideal ergonomic experience. The Homebook Laptop aims to change this by rethinking the arrangement of the electronic's key components.

To satisfy the usual configuration with which most people are comfortable, Carl Andersen began with the conventional foldable form with a keyboard on the bottom and monitor that can be closed on top of it. Not yet content with what would undoubtedly be an unoriginal design, he enabled the hinged monitor to be swung 360 degrees around so that it may be shut backwards and used as a touchscreen tablet. The Homebook Laptop can thus be alternatively optimized as a reader and a movie screen without interference from the keypad panel.
