ElasticoFarm & Bplan Studio Design an Interesting Building

An interestingly shaped holiday apartment building adorns the streets of Jesolo, Italy. The striking arc-shaped silhouette, which is elevated on metal stilts, was designed by two architectural firms. ElasticoFarm and Bplan Studio determined the functional operations and the aesthetic of the holiday apartment building.

With a total of 47 apartments, The Building Descending the Stairs overlooks the Venetian Lagoon—the enclosed bay of the Adriatic Sea, in northern Italy. Each unit has its own private external space. ElasticoFarm and Bplan Studio had a few reasons for creating an arc-shaped holiday apartment building. The two architectural practices were interested in maximizing views of the sea, as well as maximizing sun exposure. They also were mindful of not obstructing the views of neighboring buildings too.
