H&M is Debuting a Clothing Rental Service at Its Stockholm Flagship

Many brands within the fashion industry are making an attempt to reduce clothing waste by using upcycled materials, implementing take-back programs and even starting clothing rental services. H&M is kicking off a clothing rental service of its own at its Sergels Torg store in Stockholm, which gives members of its customer loyalty program the ability to rent party dresses and skirts from the sustainable Conscious Exclusive collections from 2012 to 2019.

As part of the experience, members are given the opportunity to book a time spot with a stylist, who helps the loyalty program member pick out pieces that they can rent for a week. With H&M's clothing rental service, up to three pieces can be rented at a time to support a circular fashion industry.
