Rossignol Unveiled Its Perofrmance-Enhancing 'Hi-Speed' Boot

Iconic ski equipment brand Rossignol has announced the launch of its newest high-performance ski boot collection, the 2022-2023 'Hi-Speed' boot range. The new boot borrows technologies from Rossignol’s World Cup Race program, making it one of the most advanced pieces of equipment to be offered by the brand yet.

The Hi-Speed boot is able to improve skiing performance by utilizing varying material thicknesses in different key zones, increasing rigidity in the heel and cuff, while decreasing weight throughout the rest of the boot. Rossignol calls this its Generative Design structure. In addition, the boot boasts Dual-Core Carbon technology that uses injected polyurethane and reinforced carbon to deliver a stiff yet precision-fit build.

"The challenge was to create the second generation Dual-Core, using a composite material. Carbon proved to be the best material to maximize the boot's performance," said Massimo Polini, Rossignol's R&D hard manager, referencing the new tech used for the Hi Speed's design.
