Hideously Cute PR Stories

Detroit Zoo's Baby Aardvark Woos the Press With Its Ugliness

This chap is beyond cute, I am just so in love with him. My reaction is a perfect example of how Amani, a baby aardvark at the Detroit Zoo, can spread good feelings to people.

Of course it also helps that he was rather brilliantly described as "hideously cute" by the Associated Press, who had a field day showcasing images of this fellow. Amani is 23-inches long and weighed 3 pounds, 10 ounces at birth. He has a face really only a mother could love. I’m sold.
