The Hermaphrodite Stool by Didier Fiuza Faustino is Simply Shocking

I must admit that the Hermaphrodite stool's name caught my attention before its actual design. Of course, with a title like that, I don't think anyone can blame me. Nevertheless, the Hermaphrodite stool's simple, graceful design adds an interesting element to the piece, keeping me mightily intrigued.

Designed by architect Didier Fiuza Faustino, the Hermaphrodite stool is made from a single sheet of aluminum. Shaped like a pelvis, there is nothing overly sexual about it -- except for the fact that it's made to be straddled rather than simply sat on.
