The ‘Helmet Monaco’ Heats Up to Reveal a Nude Model

Using heat-activated paint, the ‘Helmet Monaco’ slowly reveals a nude pin-up model while racing. Designed for F1 driver Sebastian Vettel, the helmet reveals the nude pin-up model when a race heats up. Originally in a black swimsuit, the model is slowly turned nude with the application of heat. The helmet was worn during the Monaco Grand Prix by Vettel.

Nested among Red Bull logos, the racy illustration seems harmless at first. However, as Vettel raced around the track the swimsuit melted away to reveal a naked girl. To avoid being pornographic, genitalia was covered by lettering that reads "Monaco."

Vettel’s helmet also contains historical images. The top of the helmet has images of past Monaco Grand Prix. The images were placed there to commemorate the track’s history.
