The claws are coming out (and so are the nun-chucks) with the release of a new line of Hello Kitty Ninja Turtle dolls from Japan. These adorable figurines combine one of the best selling American TV franchises of all time, with arguably the most popular merchandising brand in Japan for a girly twist on an old favorite.
Each Kitty-fied turtle -- or Turtle-fied Kitty if that's you're preference -- sports the green skin, shell and armor as well the weapon and color-coded mask associated with each individual turtle. On the Kitty side of things, The heads are, of course, feline, and sport whiskers and the iconic Hello Kitty bow colored to mach the mask.
These Hello Kitty Ninja Turtle dolls are an unusual blend, but the combinations of two such timeless franchises creates a cute collectible for fans both both shows, and parents looking for gender neutral toys for their children. Cowabunga!
