Astro Doughnuts & Fried Chicken Has Created a Heal the Bay Donut

Astro Doughnuts & Fried Chicken is helping Los Angeles residents indulge in something sweet and support a good cause with its new Heal the Bay donut.

Designed to coincide with Heal the Bay’s Coastal Cleanup day on September 15th, Astro Doughnuts & Fried Chicken new Heal the Bay donut is a sweet treat that helps to support efforts to keep the west coast clean. On the day of the cleanup, volunteers will swarm the beaches of Los Angeles County to help remove trash and debris from the beach. To support their efforts, Astro Doughnuts & Fried Chicken will be offering free donuts to the first 100 participants at the event. Its special Heal the Bay donut topped with a blue-marble coconut glaze will also be sold in stores between September 15th and November 15th to support the Heal the Bay organization. As Art Levitt of Astro Doughnuts & Fried Chicken explains, "I've been an avid supporter and fundraiser of Heal the Bay for many years, and am excited to offer a doughnut that will help support this great cause and keep our beaches clean."
