The Headphone or Speaker is a conceptual gadget designed to go from (wait for it) headphone to speaker in a literal snap. This intriguing piece of tech is completely wireless and was designed by Lu Chieh Hua.
The Headphone or Speaker changes between its two modes with a simple bend of its flexible structure. Once bent straight, the device changes its power output and goes into speaker mode. Once bent into a curve, the device limits its volume and goes back into headphone mode.
Headphone or Speaker uses Bluetooth to connect to music devices wirelessly. This concept is great as it eliminates the all-too-common problem of how to share your MP3's music with a group. Most MP3 players today are built with speakers, but those speakers are often not enough to let even one person listen let alone three or four. Hopefully Hua's Headphone or Speaker can go from concept to reality. I'm sick of nearly blowing out the miniscule speakers on my MP3 player.
