Exhibit Showcased in Sony BRAVIA E4000 Series TVs

Sony BRAVIA, in collaboration with London's Scream Gallery, is displaying digital art in a whole new way. Sony tried a unique approach to launch its BRAVIA E4000 Series. It went for traditional art, dabbling with commercialism, to showcase art pieces on the Sony High Definition LCD TV screens.

The first of its kind, the art exhibition features works from Sebastian Kruger, Paul Karslake, Matthew Small, Bruce French, Soozey Lipsey, Jaap de Vies, Matthew Dean, Marchus James, as well as that of Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood.

Sony Bravia developed a "picture frame mode" on the TV which brinsg high definition detail to the works of art.

Art enthusiasts can bring home "Scream in High Definition" works by purchasing a specially designed USB key containing the works of art. The catch is that the in order to view them, they need to be displayed on a Sony BRAVIA!

Will this signal the death of the canvas?

"The partnership between Sony BRAVIAâ„¢ and Scream really excites me," says gallery curator, Tyrone Wood. "We are continually looking to break the mould as far as art is concerned to stretch beyond traditional art enclaves and embrace diversity. Displaying brand new pieces in this dynamic format allows us to make art less intimidating and more interactive."
