Sustainable roadsters continue to foreshadow future transportation evolution and there are a variety of innovations that fall under this category such as the 'HAWK Race Wood' vehicle. This project came out with a product in a staggering ten weeks and its aim was to make a sophisticated vehicle concept that used a predominantly wooden structure.
First the model was made of steel and the student-creators used it to study driving behavior. Once all notes were taken the wooden replica began its build and its slender body was put together with sleek bent wood. The bike seats its drivers very close to the ground and even though it is made up of lumber, its design is undoubtedly modernistic and comparable to present day vehicles.
