Designed by artist and woodworker Jay Nelson, the 200 square foot wood cabin is nestled in the Hawaiian island of Kauai and was built in less than two months. Made using 25,000 pounds of salvaged redwood, the tranquil haven is surrounded by tropical landscape and a serene sense of peace.
The cabin boasts an asymmetrical roof-line and is built on a platform to make sure it avoids any potential flood damage. On the inside, the rustic abode has an open floor plan with circular windows and high ceilings.
