Rolls-Royce Joins Iris Van Herpen for Custom Made Phantom Syntopia

British automobile manufacturer Rolls-Royceteamed up with Dutch designer Iris Van Herpen for a one-time custom-made haute couture-inspired Phantom Syntopia. Iris Van Herpen is famous for her haute couture fashion design and craftsmanship, something exemplified in the creation of the car brand's most advanced Rolls Royce Phantom model, the Phantom Syntopia.

The custom-made car took four years to complete, and its designs raised the standard of the previous Phantom. The design exterior contains a holographic purple color with a "Weaving Water" print, inspired by transforming the sense of being in movement and fluidity. The car's standard grill and lightning mechanisms maintain the same, but the three-dimensional "Weaving Water" motif is placed in the interior hood. In addition, single sheets of leather material in the car were chosen from over 1,000 cow hides for this particular one-time-made Phantom Syntopia.
