The Harvard Innovation Lab has come up with an accurate depiction of just how the workspace of most people has changed over the years.
In the 90s it was common for people to have a large computer on their desk, a cork-board with reminders in front of them, a calendar and also a fax machine. Slowly most of these things have fazed out, and eventually only a laptop and iPhone remain. While this is a bit drastic, much of it is true since so many online applications have replaced the need for material, tangible objects.
