Magical Mural Depictions

This Harry Potter Painting Series by Nab D Reimagines Popular Characters

The magical murals in this Harry Potter painting series depict beloved and well-known characters in a new and vibrant way. Mexican artist Nabs D created the art for an exhibition in Mexico City at the Museo del Juguete (or, the Mexican Museum of Antique Toys). Instead of basing the characters on the actors who play them in the film franchise, Nabs D painted them as she imagined them when reading. She also took some liberties with the plot.

The Harry Potter painting series includes Harry Potter in the cupboard, Dobby as a ghost, Bellatrix Lestrange and her cousin Sirius Black dueling, Luna Lovegood and Severus Snape.

If you aren't near Mexico City, the art can also be seen on Nab D's Instagram.
