Gold-Hued Editorials

Geoff Barrenger Gives the Midas Touch to Harper's Bazaar Russia

Is it coincidence that Canadian-raised Geoff Barrenger thought to bring a touch of gold to Harper’s Bazaar Russia just as some of the globe's more brilliant golden girls graced the streets of Toronto for TIFF? Perhaps. But I’d like to think that he was thinking about Canada as he did this shoot.

Even if he wasn’t, what girl wouldn’t want to look as though dipped in gold (apparently it’s great for the skin)? Barrenger’s golden editorial in the Russian Harper’s Bazaar attests to just that. Radiance is an understatement. It may remind me of a Godiva ad, but it’s the perfect photo shoot for fall. Maybe we’ll even see a starlet in one of these elegant gowns soon enough!
