Happy Pear Introduces Six Vegan Sauces Including Meat-Free Bolognese

Vegan cooking brand The Happy Pear has launched a new line of vegan-friendly cooking sauces made from fresh, natural ingredients.

The recently debuted line includes six new sauces, three of which are inspired by classic Italian flavors -- a cuisine that's meat-based dishes have been notoriously tricky for vegan brands to replicate. The Italian sauces include 'Lovely Lentil Bolognese,' 'Ragu,' and 'Spicy Cherry Tomato.' The other three offerings called 'That’s Korma,' 'Tasty Tikka,' and 'Thai Tastic' are influenced by Indian and Thai flavors.

A definite standout, the 'Lovely Lentil Bolognese' looks to mimic the taste of the classic Italian sauce, replacing beef with green lentils and mushrooms. Overall, all six jarred sauces were designed to make for easy, convenient, and tasty meals. Currently, they are being sold exclusively at SuperValu and Centra stores throughout the United States.
