The Alamo Drafthouse Introduces Hannibal Lecter Wines

The Alamo Drafthouse in Austin, Texas, has released two Hannibal Lecter wines. The wines make up the Drafthouse's 2013 Signature Wines collection and pay tribute to one of the most fearsome villains in move history, Dr. Hannibal Lecter. Those who aren't familiar with the films starring Dr. Lecter may not know the significance of wine to the series. My suggestion: Google it.

The Hannibal Lecter wines feature both a red and a white. The white is called "Suit Yourself" and is a Pinot Grigio. The red has been dubbed "Cannibal Chianti" (Chianti is an obvious choice for the red). Both are available for $32 apiece or for $75 for two. The twofer package comes with some fava beans (seriously), a bottle to rub lotion on your skin (also seriously) and a recipe from the Alamo Drafthouse chef, Trish Eichelberger.
