Shapely Linking Planters

Hookie's Hanging Planter Design Joins Up with Other Planters

This hanging planter design named 'Hookie' features a snaking shape that lets you join one planter to the next like a Barrel of Monkeys. The design was developed after designer Niko Laukkarinen began to wonder is a single planter could also work in a way that would support multiple plant pots.

The plant pots come in a uniform shape and multiple colors, which can be joined to form a long hanging herb garden. With this arrangement, the plants alternate between facing forwards and sideways, creating an even more unique pattern. Although these designs work great in multiples, the design is also just as practical as a standalone, sculptural piece. Earlier this summer, the Hookie plant pots ran as part of a crowdfunding project on FundedByMe.
