Japan's Hanahana Sparklers Are Handmade with Natural Ingredients

On the complete opposite end of cheap fireworks, there are Hanahana sparklers from Japan, which are made from all-natural, domestic materials. The fireworks are crafted from gunpowder that comes from the root of a mature Miyazaki Pine tree and natural coloring from flowers like gardenias.

The fireworks are beautifully presented in hand-wrapped paper packages, and as you might expect, the fireworks don't come cheap either. However, despite the higher than usual price of these fireworks, there's a waiting list of people wanting to purchase them, since they really can't be made fast enough. Each box goes for about $100, which seems outrageous to pay for something that you'll only be able to enjoy once, however there are 40 sparklers per box.
