Recycled Plastic Windbreakers

Girlfriend Collective Made an Eco Hummingbird Half Zip Windbreaker

Girlfriend Collective, which is known for creating eco-friendly activewear from recycled fishing nets and single-use plastic bottles, recently introduced an all-new Hummingbird Half Zip Windbreaker that it calls "slow fashion designed for speed." This new design in the brand's Canyon Collection is made from 100% recycled post-consumer single-use bottles, helping to divert 34 water bottles from the landfill. Thanks to the brand's use of this recycled material, it also helps to save energy and reduce carbon dioxide emissions.

The sweat-wicking, breathable Hummingbird Half Zip Windbreaker style is currently available for pre-order in sizes from XXS to 6XL and earthy colors like Cocoa, Midnight, Dahlia and Clay.

Knowing that many consumers are doing their part to minimize their own plastic use, brands are making the most of non-virgin materials that are already in circulation.
