Haeckels Launches a Chic Edible Cup Offering to Help the Environment

Haeckels has partnered with Red Bull to design a new edible cup that will aid the sustainability movement. "[An] estimated one hundred million single-use plastic cups are used at festivals worldwide each year," which motivated Haeckels to design the edible cup as an "experiment." The cup is crafted using a gut-friendly substance that incorporates the benefits of spirulina, ginger, and blueberry, and boosts energy levels, mood, and digestion.

If the cup is not consumed, it will compost naturally and return to the soil. This offering comes as the next sustainability-focused product from Haeckels, just after the brand released its compostable packaging for Haeckels Skin.

The edible cup will be available for purchase at the Lab Bar We Out Here Festival.
