In 1986, American film director Gun Van Sant debuted 'Mala Noche,' an indie drama that follows the relationship of a lonely clerk at a convenience store, and a Mexican migrant worker. Recently, contemporary menswear label Études collaborated with the director to come up with a design that honors the film and the legacy that it has.
The result was a statement-worthy black and white pullover sweater, which features a retro Mala Noche poster on the front of it. As the design of the poster is so simple, with large lettering and a single small image positioned below it, the sweater maintains a contemporary aesthetic while honoring the themes of the film at the same time.
