The Guinness Book of Records recently launched its 2009 edition with the most bizarre photo shoot on the steps of London’s Trafalgar Square.
It featured the world’s smallest man, Pingping from China who stands just 2 ft 5 inches with the world’s longest pair of female legs which belongs to Svetlana Pankratova. Whilst Russian born Pankratova has the leggiest pair of legs in the world, she is not the tallest woman. She is only 6 ft 4inches but her legs are more than four feet long - far higher than Pingping’s height. Yep, he did look up in the video!!
20 year old Pingping’s fame began in 2007 when he appeared in a Japanese television program. Rumor has it that he protects his image well, insisting on substantial fees. He comes from China’s Inner Mongolia region. His father says that when he was born, he was as small as the palm of his hand. He may either have a kind of bone deformity called Osteogenesis Imperfecta or Primordial Dwarfism.
As for Pankratova, finding clothes that fit is nigh impossible.
