Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio is based on the children's fable The Adventures of Pinocchio but with a Guillermo del Toro stop-motion animated story twist. Guillermo del Toro is a film director who has made iconic movies such as Pan's Labyrinth, Nightmare Alley, and The Shape of Water.

The collectible figure features a 1:1 scale mold wooden marionette made of polyresin over a metal armature constructed with supervision from Guillermo del Toro himself and the original sculptors at ShadowMachine, who also worked on the movie. The set also includes a limited edition book "Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio: A Timeless Tale Told Anew" with cover illustration by the movie's co-production designer Guy Davis. There is also a signature card signed by Guillermo del Toro. The set will be placed inside an exclusive wooden presentation case. Additionally, there are only 550 units made of the collectible set.
