San Francisco-based design firm Habitat Horticulture created Gromeo, an innovative living wall system that complements any apartment, home or office space.
Made from 100% recycled sustainable materials, the vertical planters boast a low maintenance self-watering system that will never drip. Hidden within the beautifully designed frame is a one galleon water reservoir, which will keep plants adequately hydrated for up to three weeks. Behind the plants is Habitat Horticulture's Growtex material, which helps to ensure that plants stay optimally hydrated, while providing them with plenty of aeration so that they can grow and breathe.
Consumers can choose to purchase the Gromeo frame on its own, or one of the brand's many different pre-planted variations. Categorized by the level of maintenance and light required, the pre-planted frames include an assortment of plants that suit each consumer's style.
