Grathio Labs Transforms an Ordinary Book into a Source of Light

If you don't want to spend money on a new light and have a bit of patience, indulge yourself by making your own book lamp courtesy of Grathio Labs.

Now, when I say book lamp, I do mean literally. Steve Hoefer of Grathio Labs actually transformed a book into a source of light. I think it's even more appropriate that he found one entitled City of Light to choose as his main subject. The light goes brighter depending on how far you open it and it'll turn off immediately once you close it. So with a bit of cutting, wiring and gluing, you too can create a light that's unique, original and a decor piece that I'm sure anyone can appreciate.

Curious about how this book light was made? Head over to the Grathio Labs site and get detailed instructions on how to create your very own!
