The Gramohorn II by Justin Wolter Amplifies the HTC BoomSound's Audio

Gramohorn II is a serious speaker for a serious phone. Created to work with the HTC BoomSound, which is making a name for itself in the audio department, it enhances what is already being touted as the the best speakers on any smartphone.

Designed by Justin Wolter, the Gramohorn II speaker is a combination between the gramophone and a trumpet horn, hence its name. Using absolutely no electronics, it amplifies the phone's sound solely through good old fashioned acoustics.

Nevertheless, the Gramohorn II speaker is made using ultra-modern method of 3D printing. The plaster composite model is priced at about $1,600 while the stainless steel and bronze versions would set a person back more than a whopping $8,000.
