The Muppet Origins by Graham Annable Goes Back in Time

With the release of the movie The Muppets, this is the year of the puppets, which is why the Canadian cartoonist Graham Annable created the series called Muppet Origins. These illustrations are adorable and simple; they comically honored the beginnings of the funny characters originally created by Jim Henson.

Based in Oregon, Annable drew three beautiful watercolor illustrations. There is Miss Piggy in a rose color, Kermit the Frog in green and Gonzo the Great in purple, all coming to the realization for where they come from. These pieces are adorable, especially seeing the glamorous Miss Piggy sadly staring down a couple of filthy pigs.

The Muppet Origins by Graham Annable is exhibited at the Jim Henson Tribute Exhibition at Gallery Nucleus.
