Child-Voiced GPS Apps

This App Speaks In a Child's Voice When the Driver is Near a School

A Swedish ad agency has come up with an innovative GPS app that switches to the voice of a child whenever the driver is near a school. This app is based on the notion that humans are hard-wired to respond to the voice of a child. Moreover, it's common to get so used to the voice of your GPS that a shift to a child's voice can capture your attention.

While it would be great for drivers to drive without having to worry about kids near roads, this is obviously not the case as drivers can get distracted while kids don't always have the judgment to be safe around the streets.

This GPS app is available on both the iTunes app store as well as Google Play. It is only available in Swedish for the time being, but hopefully this will change going forward.
