Candidates will be able to choose between their own coding location or the Byteboard web editor. Coding languages compatible with the tool include Python, Java, Ruby, C++, C#, as well as Go.
Google's Area 120 then has a team of engineers review the interview and score it on a standard evaluation process that encompasses 20 skills pertaining to software engineering. Some early implementations of the too have successfully replaced all interviews with Byteboard interviews.
