The artfully detailed Goddess Figure Candles honor the natural beauty of the female form and its "sacred essence." These offerings were handmade by artist Dowa Doneye who grew up in a West African home in London, prompting the artist to be intrigued by the shapes and colors of African art. The "London-based entrepreneur uses her childhood inspiration to add a new perspective on West African sculpture and crafts."
Doneye created the Goddess Figure Candles in three distinct body types: Gina, the fullest female; Bré, a slightly smaller full-bodied female; and Tolani, the smallest yet equally voluptuous female. The candles seek to reflect a message of positivity and inclusion to help everyone appreciate the natural beauty of women. The candles are available in three colors that range from caramel to black.
