Ian Macleod Distillers Unveils the Newest Glengoyne Legacy Series

Glengoyne Distillery has announced the U.S. launch of their ‘Legacy Series: Chapter Three,’ an award-winning whisky that celebrates Sir Arthur John Tedder’s time at Glengoyne. The whisky's smooth, creamy vanilla scent is followed by notes of mixed berries and spicy cinnamon, standing out through an opulent foundation of apple strudel and luscious pears. The trilogy's final installment has a fruity flavor profile with hints of spiced buns and alcoholic raisins that gradually give way to Tarte Tatin's velvety caramel flavor and creamy sherry.

"Chapter Three is incredibly special and pays homage to Sir Tedder and the vital role he played in defining Glengoyne’s commitment to unhurried excellence. Glengoyne Distillery is known for its dedication to craft and time, one which has led us to becoming an award-winning Scotch whisky, and we owe so much to Sir Tedder for that," said Katy Muggeridge, brand director of Glengoyne Distillery.
