The Glacier Skywalk is Not for Those Who Fear Heights

Jasper National Park, located in the Rockies of the Great White North (Canada), is boasting a new addition: the Glacier Skywalk. Entirely transparent, this bridge will make you feel like you're gliding on air.

Brewster Travel Canada collaborated with Sturgess Architecture and Read Jones Christofferson Engineering to make the skywalk a reality. Featuring a cantilevered glass floor situated approximately 100 feet from the cliff's precarious edge, the bridge has understandably been in the making for several years.

If you have a phobia of plummeting to your death from a great height, then I would suggest you leave the Glacier Skywalk off your sightseeing tour. However, if the potential 918 foot drop isn't a deal breaker for you, then the deck is an exhilarating way to take in the sights of the park.
