The Love Want Give Up the Ghost editorial comes as part of the publication's Spring/Summer 2013 issue. Model Codie Young comes across as entirely relaxed in the series, executed here with the artistic direction of photographer Gen Kay.
Kay got at the laid back nature of Young as he captured the redhead's sunken shoulders, leaning up nonchalantly as she did before graffiti and weathered public spaces. This laidback vibe was contributed to with the apparel pairings of stylist Ana-Cecilia Guzman. Guzman chose to put together urban ensembles, all of which resonated with a grunge motif. Present in these ensembles were loose grey shirts, leather motorcycle jackets and faded denim, pieces that can be acquired at most second hand stores.
