One-Legged Stabilizers

The Gitzo Traveler Carbon Fiber Monopod is Uber Light and Compact

Although I’ve never had to use a tripod myself, I’ve helped out on some photoshoots and know how cumbersome they can be; with the Gitzo Traveler Carbon Fiber Monopod, that would change.

Only 14 inches when folded up, it (as apparent by its name) doesn’t have the extra weight of two other legs. Though I can’t figure out how it actually balances on one leg, the Monopod features a "G-Lock system for easy and secure locking, 6X carbon fiber construction for maximum strength and durability," according to Uncrate.com.
